Here’s the thing about change: It doesn’t happen without a fight.

For Roman Reigns to alter the landscape of WWE, he had to stand up to a mad king and his raging queen before the gathered mass of 101,763 screaming faces.

He had to overcome conspiracies and injuries, sledgehammers and subterfuge. He had to face sports-entertainment’s most elite gladiator on its grandest stage and prove that he was meant to be there.

Divas Champion Charlotte kicked off SmackDown and claimed that she will put an end to the “so-called Divas Revolution” at WrestleMania by disposing of both Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks.

 In its place, she will launch the “ ‘Wooooo!’Revolution.”

When the action of her subsequent showdown against hometown hero Sasha moved outside the ring, Charlotte threw The Boss right into Becky and caused her to inadvertently slug The Irish Lass Kicker. Then back in the ring, Sasha had the presence of mind to counter Charlotte’s Figure-Eight Leglock attempt, cinching in the small package for the huge win over the titleholder.

But as the smoke was still clearing, a livid Becky launched a post-match retaliatory strike on her WrestleMania opponents with back-to-back Bexplexes. Not to be outdone, The Boss recovered in time to hit the reeling Divas Champion with a Backstabber.

The New Day def. Chris Jericho & AJ Styles (VIDEO)

• The New Day had about as rough of a Raw as you could imagine last week, getting shown up by Chris Jericho & AJ Styles and finding themselves forced into a title defense as a consequence.

This week went much, much better. Not only did the Power of Positivity prove enough to hold off the Codebreaker and the risk-taker, but Y2J had finally had enough of his partner by night’s end.

Robin van Persie has detailed just how angry Sir Alex Ferguson could get at his Manchester United squad but has insisted the Scot's temper was an inspiration.

The striker spent three seasons at United but just one under Sir Alex where he won his only Premier League winners' medal after arriving from Arsenal in 2012.

Van Persie, talking to Uefa.com along with current Fenerbahce team-mate Nani, reminsiced on how Sir Alex unleashed on his players after losing to Manchester City and seeing their lead at the top of the table cut to 12 points.

"I played with him for one year but it was a very special year: we won the league!" Van Persie said of Sir Alex. "The road to that title was very special. I could tell he's a really special manager.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H confronted Dean Ambrose

“Roadblock” isn’t the right word. When it comes to The Road to WrestleMania, Dean Ambrose is looking to blow the whole thing to hell. There’s no denying The Lunatic Fringe’s potential rise to WWE World Heavyweight Champion on Saturday would mean a bit of a scramble when it comes to marketing, but Ambrose’s aim in dethroning The King of Kings at WWE Roadblock is simpler: He wants to force The King of Kings to respect him.

The Game, of course, does not respond well to those who refuse to bend the knee, so he took to the ramp in an attempt to put Ambrose in his place. The Lunatic Fringe didn’t budge, so Triple H changed course, “delegating” that the rebellious Ambrose would battle Bray Wyatt later on Raw. So sayeth The King.
